Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Welcome to Cedar Coast Exteriors!
These terms and conditions outline the rules for using our website at cedarvalleyexteriors.ca and for engaging our exterior cleaning services. By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not continue to use our website or services.
"You" and "your" refers to you, the visitor or client. "We", "us", and "our" refers to Cedar Coast Exteriors Ltd., registered in British Columbia, Canada. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BC BPCPA) or any other applicable law.
Cookies
We use cookies on our website in line with our Privacy Policy. Most interactive websites use cookies to remember visitor details between visits. Some of our tools and partners may also use cookies. By using our site, you agree to our use of cookies.
Our Services
Cedar Coast Exteriors provides exterior cleaning including pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, and deck and fence washing. All services depend on site conditions and our assessment of what can be done safely. We reserve the right to decline, pause, or stop a job if conditions create a risk to our crew, your property, or the surrounding area. We will let you know promptly if that happens.
Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are based on the information you provide and are valid for 30 days from the date issued. If the scope or condition of the work differs significantly from what was described, the price may be adjusted after an on-site review. We will always get your approval before doing anything that costs more than the original quote.
All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include GST or PST unless stated. Applicable taxes will appear on your invoice.
Booking and Scheduling
A booking is confirmed once you accept a quote in writing (email or text is fine). Please make sure someone can provide access to the property and answer questions on the day of the job.
Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent. If conditions are unsafe or likely to produce poor results, we will reschedule at no extra cost to you.
What We Need from You
Before the service date, please:
- Move vehicles, furniture, and loose items away from work areas where you can
- Secure pets or keep them away from the work site
- Close windows, doors, vents, and skylights before we arrive
- Let us know about any hazards, fragile surfaces, or existing damage
- Make sure we can access an outdoor tap (garden hose connection), at no charge
If we cannot complete the job because these steps were not taken, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Payment
Payment is due when the job is done, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash. Commercial clients may request net-15 payment terms, which we can arrange at our discretion.
Unpaid balances past the due date accrue interest at 2% per month (24% per year), compounded monthly, plus any reasonable costs we incur collecting the debt.
Cancellations
- Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment: no charge.
- Cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice: a $75 CAD fee may apply to cover scheduling and mobilization costs.
- If we show up and cannot access your property through no fault of our own, the $75 fee may also apply.
Our Guarantee
If you are not happy with the result, let us know within 48 hours of the job being completed. We will come back and sort it out at no charge. The guarantee covers the specific surfaces and areas in the original scope and applies to results that are reasonable given the age and condition of the surface.
The guarantee does not apply where damage or a poor result comes from conditions you did not disclose, from surfaces that are not suitable for cleaning, or from anything outside our control.
Liability
Cedar Coast Exteriors carries full commercial general liability insurance. If we damage something through our own negligence, our liability is capped at the cost of repairing or replacing that specific item, up to the total value of the service invoice for that job.
We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage or deterioration that was not disclosed before the job
- Damage to surfaces or materials that cannot withstand professional cleaning
- Indirect, consequential, or economic losses
- Loss of use of your property during or after the service
Any damage claim must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the job being completed.
Photos and Marketing
Unless you tell us otherwise before the job, you give Cedar Coast Exteriors permission to use before-and-after photos of work done at your property for marketing and portfolio purposes. We will not show your street address or other identifying personal details alongside those photos.
